💰Grants

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Big Dream Awards program is proud to recognize the very best in American small businesses by giving businesses a chance to win $25,000. To be eligible apply a business must meet the following requirements:
- Be a For-profit business operating for at least one (1) year, primarily within the United States.
- Have less than 250 employees or have gross revenues of less than $20 million for each of 2019 and 2020
- Applications close July 16, 2021, so apply NOW!

The NAACP and Bacardi have launched Round 2 of the Backing the B.A.R. Acceleration Grant, a program offering $10,000 grants, education, and support to Black-owned businesses in the hospitality and alcohol sales industries. Applications are open until July 30.

Uncharted’s Economic Inequality Initiative has launched a $25,000 grant supporting early-stage organizations with the clarity, connections, and capital they need to scale their solution, technology, pilot, or initiative addressing extreme economic inequality in the US. Apply here.

Lipton Iced Tea is launching the Lipton Iced Tea Heartland Hope Rural Relief Small Business Grants Program to help independently owned restaurants, and food-related businesses in rural Texas recover from COVID-19 and recent natural disasters.
- Through the program, 72 cash grants of $2,500 will be awarded to assist these businesses with short-term needs.
- Independently owned restaurants and food-related businesses in rural Texas are eligible to apply.

OXC is a directory and resource hub for BIPOC entrepreneurs and Venture Capitalists.

📈 Accelerators

The Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders program is now open for applications until July 19. The Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders program aims to help bridge the gap and create opportunities for women founders to succeed. Beyond mentorship and technical project support, the accelerator also includes deep dives and workshops focused on product design, customer acquisition, and leadership development for founders. Participants will also hear from a roster of speakers and facilitators who deliver both technical and nontechnical programming for women-led startups. Approximately 10-12 startups with at least one woman founder will be selected from across North America. The accelerator runs from September through to December 2021.
As part of its Black Business Accelerator program, Amazon is delighted to partner with Hello Alice to offer an initial round of cash grants, along with access to business resources, technical training, and mentorship to help build sustainable equity and growth for Black entrepreneurs selling on Amazon. Cash assistance includes:
- $500 credit to assist with start-up and operational costs for eligible newly-launched sellers.
- $400 in Sponsored Products advertising credits to increase exposure for your business.
- FREE imaging services for up to 50 products to help showcase your products.
- $10,000 cash grants for select sellers, offered in partnership with Hello Alice, an organization dedicated to helping entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses.
